Texans Fan Creates Amazing JJ Watt Banner

J.J. Watt-mania has reached such absurd levels, nothing is too ridiculous. He’s the new LeBron of football, but more widely liked. Ask Houston Texans fans how they feel about the two-time NFL Defensive Player of the Year and you’ll get answers. He’s the greatest player of all time. He’s the greatest athlete of all time. He’s God. Don’t believe us? Take a look at this…

Reddit user rock99rock is behind this glorious banner. In an interview with Bleacher Report, “Rock” as he likes to be called, detailed his plan to hang it in all its glory off the railing of the first row in an unspecified away game this season, so keep an eye out for it. He noted this is not a statement about religion. It is purely a humorous homage to his favorite player:

“I see it as satire, and plays on the fact that everyone puts JJ on a pedestal…I travel with a group of friends and sit front row for 1 road game each year and meet up with the Traveling Texans, and I hope to hang this off the railing. Last year we just hung the state flag of Texas and a Texans flag in Cleveland, and nothing in Jacksonville the year before. This year I wanted to try something a little different. Hopefully everyone takes it for what it is, just good humor not meaning to offend anyone.”
