If this play doesn’t sum up the NFC East, I don’t know what does. With the Redskins having driven down the field with little time left on the clock before the half and looking to score, Redskins QB Kirk Cousins took a knee instead of spiking the ball which would have stopped the clock, with time expiring.
The best part about Kirk Cousins meltdown? When he tried to spike it AFTER taking the knee pic.twitter.com/lmcPC24334

Cousins was filmed heading to the locker room following the play…
Washington should consider themselves lucky that the was wasn’t given up, and returned for a TD by the Eagles defense. The Redskins still lead the Eagles 16-10 and if they hold on for the rest of the game, will secure an NFC East title, which is basically the equivalent of coming in first place during the special olympics.
