A really weird sequence took place during today’s Rams-Seahawks game in Seattle.
During the second quarter, the Rams punted the ball away to the Seahawks, after the punt, Rams punter Johnny Hekker hits Seahawks De Cliff Avril with a somewhat cheap blindside block.
After the block, Avril bounced up and went after Hekker, who fell down in a signal of defeat.
A few plays later, Avril and Bennett got their revenge on Hekker, who once again fell down in a signal of defeat.
I know he’s just a punter, but a very cowardish move.
