GREEN BAY – Tonight’s Sunday night matchup was the battle for the NFC North crown, to which the Packers have been wearing for quite some time now.

The Packers fell short of a victory 20-13 after a Aaron Rodgers hail mary fell unsuccessful with no time remaining, a play which the team did miraculously complete just a few weeks back.

With the loss though, the Green Bay Packers seemingly secured a better matchup, although on the road, playing the Redskins who have been hot of late, but not nearly as hot as the Seattle Seahawks. The Redskins came out of nowhere this season, beating out the disappointing Giants, Eagles and Cowboys in what was a horrid division this season. The Minnesota Vikings, who secured home field advantage, will face the red hot Seahawks who many experts tout as the most dangerous team in the league right now.

There was talk amongst the sports world whether or not the teams should try to throw subliminally tonight’s game in effort to get the better matchup, but it was apparent both teams seemed 100% committed to coming out of tonight with a victory (even with Teddy Bridge water susceptibly fumbling a simple handoff in the late minutes of the 4th quarter amongst a plethora of wacky turnovers from both teams)

The Vikings may have won tonight, but the Packers may have won in the long run, time will only tell.

  1. I was curious if you ever thought of changing the layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having 1 or 2 images. Maybe you could space it out better?
