Some fans who are neighbors to the coach found a unique way to wish him luck and show their support before his departure Sunday afternoon, decorating the yard of his Charlotte house the night before, for him to be awaken to the decor.
Rivera posted videos of his yard the morning after to his Twitter account.

There was also a line of fans who gathered that morning to send him on his way as he left for the facilities and eventually the airport.
