Thomas Davis Shares Picture of Arm After Super Bowl 50

After suffering a broken forearm in the NFC Championship Game, Thomas Davis made a promise that he would play in Super Bowl 50 despite the fact that team trainers didn’t think he would be able to play. But the defensive leader for the Panthers defied the odds and suited up for his team on Sunday in Santa Clara, CA.

Although the Panthers came up short, losing to the Denver Broncos 24-10, Davis was still somehow recorded seven tackles while playing with a cast on his right arm. After the game, Davis shared this image of his surgically repaired forearm along with a strong message for Panthers fans:

This post is not about me, or how tough I am. It’s not to shine any light on me or my injuries. Our team doctors and trainers did an amazing job giving me an opportunity to get back on the field. This post is strictly to show how much love I have for my brothers and #PantherNation. Thank you all for your support and we will #KeepPounding.-TD

Carolina’s defense put up a magnificent effort and much of it is due to the fact of Thomas Davis’ toughness.
