DeAngelo Williams re-energized his career after a injury-plagued season in 2014 when he signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers after spending his first 9 seasons in Carolina.

After Steelers starting running back Le’Veon Bell went down due to injury, Williams’ number was called and he didn’t let the Steelers down, rushing for 907 yards and tied for the league lead with 11 touchdowns.

Meanwhile in New England, backs were going down left and right starting with Dion Lewis and LeGarrette Blount and Patriots fans hoped DeAngelo Williams could’ve been their savior at the running back position, however, Williams would have preferred not to play for Bill Belichick.

DeAngelo took to Twitter on Monday telling Patriots fans, “only Tom Brady likes the head coach”
