Peyton Manning was emotional to say the least, recalling his career from star to finish as he formally announced his retirement today. Surrounded by his Broncos teammates, coaches, family and management, the ceremony was that of expectation, with the QB recollecting stories of his past and what he’s enjoyed and will miss most about the game of football. John Elway and Broncos’ head coach Gary Kubiak also spoke about their memories with Manning in their stent together in Denver.

His last word? “Omaha.”
