Lions 6th-Round Draft Pick Anthony Zettel Has A Video Of Him Tackling A Tree

This may be the most American thing ever. A Pennsylvania State University football player getting drafted by a team from Detroit who has a video of him tackling a tree…a friggin tree.

First-team all Big 10 Anthony Zettle 6′ 4″ 258lb defensive tackle get swooped up by the Lions Saturday in the 6th-round of the NFL Draft. Forget the highlight films and the pro day though, this video is all you need to see:

Now granted the tree appears to be rotten, but impressive none the less.

Zettel finished his career tied for No. 7 in Penn State history with Rich McKenzie (1989-92) with 20.0 career sacks…His 38.0 career tackles for loss rank No. 10 all-time at Penn State…Was the only FBS player ranked among the national leaders in sacks and interceptions per game in 2014…Became the first Penn State defensive lineman since at least 1959 with at least three interceptions in a season in 2014.
