MMA and street fighting icon Kimbo Slice is dead at age 42.
According to Bleacher Report, it was reported by TMZ Sports on Monday that police turned to family members for information after Slice was taken to a hospital in Coral Springs, Florida.
The MMA and backyard brawler’s final fight came at Bellator 149 back in February of this year, when he defeated Dada 5000 by knockout. The win was later negated by the UFC Slice tested positive for nandrolone (a banned steroid) with an elevated testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio.
Slice is arguably known for more of his off the radar antics than his in-the-spotlight fights to which he posted a 4-2 record. His videos of his bare knuckle fighting in the backyards of Miami have been seen by millions. Another gem of his, this video of him pulverizing a man with a football tackle on South Beach, to which we can only wonder what that man was thinking.
