Dez Bryant Being Sued After Trashing State Senators House

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Dez Bryant is in the news again for the wrong reason.

This time, #88 is being sued by Royce West, a Texas state senator and Bryant’s former attorney for trashing a house that he rented from West.

According to the suit filed:

Bryant returned to the Property to Mr. West in February 2016, however, Mr. West found it in a state of serious disrepair: littered with trash and feces, missing blinds and shutters, with cracked windows and blackened carpeting. Mr. Bryant has been unwilling to accept responsibility for the damage, forcing Mr. West to file this suit.

Bryant has been renting the house from West since August 2013. He ended his $4,720 per month lease in January of 2016 without allowing an inspection of the property, something that was included in the contract. West also claims he has to repaint the entire house and replace all carpeting, which is preventing him from renting out the estate again.

West said he sent photographs taken at the walk-through and repair costs to Bryant in April, requesting reimbursement, but Bryant has yet to respond. The lawsuit also claims that West tried to collect again in May, and was told Bryant would sue if he made further attempts of contact.

According to the Dallas Morning News, West was apart of “an informal support group of prominent residents created to mentor Bryant and keep him out of trouble.”

As stated above, West at one point did serve as Bryant’s attorney in the past.

In 2014, a report on NFL.com revealed that police had been called to Bryant’s house a number of times for matters that range from a baby being locked in a car to a stolen iPad.

No charges were filed against Dez Bryant, but Cowboys employees told The Dallas Morning News then that they were concerned about Bryant’s living arraignments. According to one employee, there were up to 10 people living with Bryant at the home.

If we do the same, what makes us any different than the devil? Jesus says unless we repent, we shall perish. For sin is the transgression of the law. We must walk in the Spirit so we may not fulfill the lusts of the flesh, being hatred, fornication, drunkenness and the like. Whoever practices such things will not inherit the kingdom (Galatians 5:16-26). If we sin, we may come before Jesus to ask for forgiveness (1 John 2:1-2). Evil thoughts are not sins, but rather temptations. It is not until these thoughts conceive and give birth by our own desires that they become sin (James 1:12-15). When we sin, we become in the likeness of the devil’s image, for he who sins is of the devil (1 John 3:8); but if we obey Jesus, in the image of God. For without holiness, we shall not see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14).

    The oldest religion in the world is holiness through faith (James 1:27). What religion did Adam and Eve follow before the fall? Jesus, Who became the last Adam, what religion does He follow? Is He not holy? He never told us to follow the rituals and traditions of man but to take up our cross and follow Him (Luke 9:23). There are many false doctrines being taught leading people astray. So to know anything, you would have to be God, or know God.
