LeSean McCoboy Buying Tickets For Police Officers To Bills Game vs Kaepernick’s 49ers

Just one day later, the Buffalo Bills in turn announced that their star running back, LeSean McCoy, would be inviting a large number of police officers to that very game vs the Niners.

Coincidence? We think not.

Though McCoy and the team have stated that the plans were completed before Kaepernick was announced as the starter, the timing is all too perfect.

By inviting the 15-20 members of the Buffalo Police Department, the RB wants to “show his appreciation” for the work the force does, as well as providing an opportunity for inner city kids to come to a game and hopefully unite with the police.

“I’m going to invite some police to the game, about 15 or 20, McCoy said. “Just an appreciation thing. They’re taking so much heat right now, and there’s things that have happened that are definitely wrong, but I just feel like there’s always bad people and good people. There’s good cops and there’s bad cops.”

There’s still good cops. At the end of the day, if there’s something wrong going on, if there’s something dangerous, I’m sure Kap, he’ll call the cops. He’ll call 911.”

Oddly enough, early this offseason, McCoy was arrested for being involved in an incident back in Philadelphia that ended with two off-duty police officers being hospitalized, though no criminal charges ended up being filed.
