In Honor Andre Johnson Retiring, Here’s Him Beating The Shit Out Of Cortland Finnegan

screen-shot-2016-10-31-at-10-24-18-amAndre Johnson told his Tennessee Titans teammates this morning that he will retire, forgoing the rest of the season with the team.

The 35-year-old, spent 12 years of his 15-year career in the purgatory that is the quarterback-less Houston Texans organization, and still put up Hall of Fame numbers.

With more than 13,000 yards receiving for Houston, he’s the club leaders in yards by nearly 9,000, and his 64 touchdowns are more than double that of any other Texans receiver (Pro Football Rumors). His 1,062 career receptions places him eighth all-time (just behind Reggie Wayne), while he currently ranks ninth in receiving yards with 14,185. Unfortunately due to the situations around Johnson for the majority of his career, he only made it to one playoff game.
