How sweet would it be for Tom Brady, once the NFL’s golden boy turned the QB against the league, to receive the MVP trophy in the same year he was suspended by the league handing that trophy out.
Brady missed the first four games of the 2016 season due to the suspension for ‘deflate-gate’, yet is inarguably the most valuable, and best player out of anyone in the league to this point.
For that very reason, a former teammate of Brady’s says he can’t win the award this year.
Now retired Reggie Wayne, says the Patriots QB shouldn’t have a chance at winning the MVP due to the fact that he was suspended for cheating.
Can Brady win MVP this season?

Beyond being a Colt, the team that first reported New England’s deflated footballs, Wayne may still be salty from not being able to make the Patriots roster last season.
