New Vikings RB Latavius Murray Won’t Wear #28 In Honor Of Adrian Peterson

Newly signed Minnesota Vikings running back Latavius Murray is leaving the No. 28 jersey in Oakland.

Murray, who also wore No. 28 during his collegiate career at Central Florida says he wore the number to pay respect to former Jacksonville Jaguars running back Fred Taylor.

After Taylor retired, Murray said it was Adrian Peterson who inspired him to keep the number.
