Jay Cutler May Follow Romo, Pursue Post-Football Career In Broadcasting

Jay Cutler is apparently considering following Tony Romo’s post-NFL footsteps, but for a slightly different reason.

Last month, Tony Romo announced he would retire and forego the opportunity to play for another team to pursue a career in TV broadcasting. Just a short time later, it appears Jay Cutler is doing the same, but in his case, likely because no team wants to sign him.

According to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo, the 34-year-old former Bears quarterback has already auditioned with at least one network and has spoken with network executives about “football-related TV roles.”
