Spike Lee Leaks That Colin Kaepernick Has Been Signed By The Seahawks

The biggest talk during free agency this offseason has ironically been the lack of talk regarding Colin Kaepernick in the names of prospective quarterbacks being targeted by NFL teams.

After months of conversation over whether Kaepernick was being blackballed for his protest that took place during the national anthems before games, it appeared as if the Seahawks had interest in him, bringing him in for a workout.

Days later, it now appears as if movie director Spike Lee has accidentally broken the news that Seattle has signed him.

Lee posted this photo picturing him and Kaepernick to his Instagram account with the caption, “Big Love Shoutout To The Head Coach Pete Carroll For Signing My Brother Colin Kaepernick To The Seattle Seahawks. The Truth Is On Your Side. Much Success For The Coming NFL Season.”

The post has since been deleted.
