The Miami Dolphins’ season may be over before it even stated.
Quarterback Ryan Tannehill went down Thursday morning after his knee buckled during a scramble, the same knee he injured last season, spraining his ACL and MCL.
Tannehill underwent an MRI and while no there was no structural damage, it’s now being reported that the Miami Dolphins indeed fear that Tannehill’s injury is season-ending:
Dolphins fear Ryan Tannehill will need season-ending knee surgery, but no decision on it has been made, sources tell @JeffDarlington and me.

The Dolphins do have seasoned backup quarterback Matt Moore on the roster, but have already had discussions regarding the possibility of bringing in Jay Cutler and Colin Kaepernick. Cutler has already made it known that he’ll put his broadcasting career on hold to play for Miami.
