Uh oh.
During tonight’s Patriots-Lions preseason game in Detroit, New England’s star wide out Julian Edelman was carted off with what looks like a knee injury:
#Patriots WR Julian Edelman just caught a pass early in the game vs. the #Lions and limped off grabbing the back of his knee.

Here’s the clip of when the injury took place and right off the bat you can tell, non-contact and it looks bad:

Edelman needed help to sideline and was later carted off to the locker room:

Edelman is a key competent to what looks like another New England Patriots Super Bowl run.
The Patriots are hoping the pairing of Edelman and Cooks to go along with Gronkowski will help Tom Brady and the Patriots win yet another Super Bowl.
