A life-long Dallas Cowboys fan was rewarded for his incredible weight loss journey during a recent team practice.
Matthew Sistrunk set out to accomplish a goal two years ago. A life-long Cowboys fan, he tweeted his favorite players. Tony Romo and Dez Bryant, requesting signed jerseys if he was able to drop 100 pounds by January.
Now, after an incredible body transformation that includes an overall weight loss of 400 pounds, Sistrunk was finally able to catch the attention of his favorite athletes.
Bryant noticed Sistrunk’s sign saying the wide receiver had inspired him to get healthy during Dallas’ August 29 practice, and he was kind enough to run over, shake his hand and give him a pair of game gloves:
Two years in the making. But finally meet @DezBryant. he took the time to come over to me and gave me his gloves. pic.twitter.com/og6vvqUV8l
