The penalizing of touchdown celebrations has gotten out of hand.
Bearcats RB Mike Boone ran in a score during the first quarter vs Michigan and was subsequently flagged for an unsportsmanlike-conduct (15 yards) for pointing out the word ‘Cincinnati’ on the front of his jersey.

The referee who made the call most likely thought Boone was doing a throat slash gesture, which is outlawed in football, but there’s one small problem – Boone did it nowhere near his throat.
