Bears Marcus Cooper Show Boats Before Reaching End Zone, Gets Stripped At 1-Yard Line

One of the most bonehead plays in NFL history came Sunday courtesy of Marcus Cooper.

After recovering a blocked Steelers field goal, Cooper ran the length of the field only to show boat before reaching the end zone. He paid dearly for it.

The what was supposed to be a sure touchdown resulted in an illegal touch from the Steelers, giving the Bears the ball for an untimed down at the 1-yard line.

After a false start penalty on the ensuing play, Bears kicker Connor Barth kicked a 24-yard field goal.
