Buccaneers Rework Goal Posts At Stadium To Accommodate For Kicker Nick Folk

The ghost of Roberto Aguayo was on display Thursday night when it, disguised as Nick Folk, took the field and missed three straight field goals, resulting in a loss to the New England Patriots.

With the team out of ideas and out of kickers, Tampa Bay’s front office gathered early Friday morning to discuss an immediate plan for the future for the embarrassment of a kicking predicament they found themselves in.

At about 2:10 AM, an idea was agreed upon. If you can’t change the kicker, change the goal posts.

The Buccaneers have constructed alternative goal posts that will accommodate Nick Folk’s terrible kicks, allowing the Buccaneers to actually put three points on the board when they’re in field goal range, a strange concept for the team since drafting Aguayo and two years ago.

“There’s no word on if the NFL will approve our creation,” said Bucs GM Jason Licht. “You’d think Roger Goodell would though considering it would have helped us beat the Patriots.
