Peyton Manning’s Statue Gets Unveiled At Lucas Oil Stadium, & It Looks Like It Skipped Leg Day

Peyton Manning’s illustrious career was commemorated in bronze Saturday in Indianapolis.

A statue of the legendary Colts quarterback was unveiled outside Lucas Oil Stadium, and by the looks of it, it may have skipped leg day.

Some statues are in fact purposefully built out of proportion in order to give the illusion of anatomical correctness when looking at it from a dramatically low angle, a practice that dates back to ancient Greek and Roman times. David, one of the most famous sculptures in history, has a larger head and torso for this very reason.

At least Manning’s statue didn’t skip forehead day.
