Steelers WR Martavis Bryant was expected to be an integral part of the Pittsburgh’s high-powered offense this season, but has been anything but so.
Bryant’s role has essentially been replaced with rookie standout WR JuJu Smith-Schuster, who’s making a name for himself with his touchdowns and ensuing celebrations.
After a win against the then undefeated Chiefs in Week 6, reports surfaced that Bryant was unhappy about his role with the team and had requested a trade.
Those rumors were shot down by both Bryant and the team, the WR’s girlfriend seemed to be on board with the news, tweeting out her displeasure with the team’s use of Bryant.
After a 1 catch for 3 yards game against the Bengals Sunday, it appears as if Bryant is no longer hiding his feelings, as he was caught on Instagram inferring to the trade request as well as taking a shot at Smith-Schuster.
