Joe Mixon has been heavily scrutinized since being drafted by the Cincinnati Bengals.
He’s recently seen his playing time picked up. Last week, Mixon saw his playing time picked up vs Pittsburgh.
After the game, Mixon took some shots at Le’Veon Bell:
“Me personally, I feel like I can do way more than [Bell] did,” Mixon said Monday, per Katherine Terrell of ESPN.com. “Like I said, I only had seven carries. I can’t showcase nothing if I don’t get the ball. There’s nothing else I can say.”
Today, Bell returned the favor while watching the Bengals-Colts game.
Bell seemed to notice that the Cincinnati Bengals rookie was mimicking his running style, all the way down to his celebrations and the equipment of choice during the game.
Bell called him out on Twitter:
for someone who feels they can do “way more” than I can, sure seems like u wanna be me! tryin to mimic my run style, my 1st down celebration
