Earlier this week, it was reported that NFL owners were considering a change to the league’s national anthem policy if players’ protests during the anthem didn’t stop. One of the changes that was under consideration would be keeping players in the locker room while the anthem was being played.
That idea didn’t entice the President of the United States, Donald Trump, who described the idea as worse than players kneeling during the anthem.
He let his feelings known on Twitter (yet again), blasting the league for thinking of such a thing instead of forcing all players to stand.
He also took a shot at Commissioner Roger Goodell as well:
The NFL is now thinking about a new idea – keeping teams in the Locker Room during the National Anthem next season. That’s almost as bad as kneeling! When will the highly paid Commissioner finally get tough and smart? This issue is killing your league!…..

At some point, you’d think the President would stop worrying about the NFL or LaVar Ball and actually do his job.
