Steelers linebacker Ryan Shazier suffered a scary injury during tonight’s Monday Night Football Game and early indications are the injury is very, very serious.
Shazier was carted off the field and was in a lot of pain. What made matters worse, is that it appeared the linebacker did not have feeling in his lower body, particularly in his knees.
Reports are coming in that Shazier has been taken to the hospital, specifically the UC Trauma Center in Cincinnati:

The Steelers have yet to give an update on Shazier’s injury but the longer we wait, the worse it’s looking to be. And while Shazier’s career is an important thing to worry about, his personal health for his livelihood is obviously the most pressing concern.
Our thoughts are with Shazier at this time, and we wish him a speedy recovery.
