FOX Sports Is Looking For Actors To Be Los Angeles Rams Fans For Eagles Game

If you live in the Los Angeles area and can act like you’re a Los Angeles Rams fan, FOX Sports is looking for you.

The NFL on FOX is looking for people who can convincingly portray a Los Angeles Rams fan during Sunday’s Rams home game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

An online Project Casting listing was posted looking for people to attend the Rams-Eagles showdown and more importantly act like they give a crap about football during the FOX NFL pregame show:

Casting directors are now casting actors, models, and talent to work on Sunday, December 10th in Los Angeles, California.

Producers are seeking the following types:

  • We’re looking for LA’s biggest NFL fans to be a part of #NFLSunday’s Los Angeles Rams vs. Philadelphia Eagles Pre Game Show!

    Calling all LA Rams fans!

To audition for a role in the upcoming NFL Sunday pre-game show, check out the casting call breakdown below.

The link to the audition page also invites Philadelphia Eagles fans to attend the pre-game show, which makes it seem like FOX Sports wants to mimic ESPN’s College Gamday outside the Coliseum, but the overall message is clear:

Los Angeles needs people to care about the Rams.

According to CBS Sports:

FOX Sports later clarified to that it’s “not uncommon” for the network to encourage fan attendance at pre-game shows, especially ones stationed in the vicinity of game-day stadiums “prior to the doors of the stadium being open,” as Sunday’s Eagles-Rams event will be. The network said it has used a similar practice for “all of our shows onsite,” and added that it is not “hiring actors” but rather welcoming fan participation for the show.

Despite FOX Sports’ clarification, it’s obvious that the Rams need fans to show up to probably the franchise’s most important game in some time:
