Ryan Shazier suffered a horrifying injury against the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 13 after trying to make a routine tackle.
He was forced to have spinal stabilization surgery and has since been recovering.
On Sunday afternoon, Shazier surprised the Heinz Field crowd when he was in a suite for the Steelers game against the New England Patriots.
When Shazier showed up on the jumbotron, Steelers fans went crazy:

This was Shazier’s first public appearance since the injury and he was appropriately waving his terrible towel, rooting on his teammates.
