Bengals Fans Donate Thousands To Blake Bortles Foundation After Beating Rival Steelers

Just a short time ago, Bills fans donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Andy Dalton’s foundation after the Bengals quarterback knocked off the Baltimore Ravens, in turn sending Buffalo to the playoffs for the first time since 1999.

The idea seems to be a popular one, and Bengals fans are now paying it forward, this time to Blake Bortles. The Jaguars QB helped upset the rival Steelers 45-42 in the divisional round of the playoffs Sunday, ending their season. It’s the least Bengals fans could do.

The tally is up to nearly $5,000 and is expected to grow.

I greatly appreciate the support displayed by Bengals fans and they should know their support will make a difference,” said Bortles.

Established in 2016, the Blake Bortles Foundation supports first responders in Oviedo and Jacksonville, Florida, and partners with organizations in Jacksonville and Oviedo to help children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
