The biggest question many Patriots fans are asking is, why the hell did Malcolm Butler not play in Super Bowl 52?
Patriots fans watched, as the Eagles absolutely torched their defense, scoring 41 points and moving the ball at will in Super Bowl 52. All this with the team’s star corner, Malcolm Butler on the bench throughout the entire game.
After the game, Butler’s comments made it clear, that he was not only blindsided by the benching but his time in New England is all but over:

Belichick said Butler was not benched due to disciplinary reasons but wouldn’t comment on why the hell Butler didn’t see the field.
