There’s fandom, and then there’s this.
When the Eagles are celebrating their first Super Bowl win in franchise history, millions of fans packed into downtown Philadelphia to watch the championship parade. Among those was one man whose fingers were hurting a little more than the rest of them.
During ESPN’s broadcast of the Super Bowl parade, former Eagle and current ESPN radio host Mike Golic called in to share one Philly fan’s story of him intentionally breaking three of his fingers in order to get a doctors note to take off work and get to the parade.
