The team’s general manager Ryan Pace notified Glennon and the media Wednesday that he will be released once the league year begins on March 14.
Glennon’s demise in Chicago came at the hands of poor play through four games and the Bears electing to draft quarterback Mitchell Trubisky with the number 2 overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft.
