Former Seahawk Richard Sherman Signs With The 49ers

Richard Sherman was only a free agent for one day afternoon being released by the Seattle Seahawks.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the once bitter rival San Francisco 49ers have landed the veteran corner to a 3-year contract worth $39 million, $5 million of which is gaunrteed, along with a $5 million signing bonus.

Sherman’s new home in the Bay Area will be a home coming of sorts for the Stanford graduate.
