Over the past few months, Johnny Manziel has been working has hard as he can to make a comeback to the NFL.
Manziel has been working out hard and even participated in Pro Day’s to allow scouts to watch the former Texas A&M QB.
But on Monday, the second chance Manziel is seeking took a hit after the former Cleveland Browns QB was hospitalized in Texas due to a reaction to medication, according to TMZ Sports:
“Sources connected to the QB tell us … he was admitted to a hospital in Humble, TX on Monday. He had been in the area to attend the JMBLYA concert with friends after playing in a golf tournament hosted by friend and former Texas A&M teammate Mike Evans.
Manziel’s rep, Denise Michaels, tells us … “It seems like he had a reaction to an adjustment in his prescription. He’s fine and headed home.”
Unclear if the medication that landed him in the hospital is connected to that diagnosis.”
The free-agent quarterback hasn’t played pro football since he was released by the Browns following the 2015 season.

In an interview with Good Morning America earlier this year, Manziel revealed that he was suffering from bipolar disorder.
