Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has been so outspoken about his stance that his players will stand during the National Anthem that the NFL has reportedly had to tell him to figuratively shut up about it numerous times.
Though Jones clearly thinks the flag and anthem should be respected no matter the context, Jones interestingly refused to remove his cap during the song’s playing prior to the team’s practice on Monday, despite being told to do so.
Is that Jerry Jones still wearing his hat during the National Anthem yet making his #Dallas #Cowboys players “toe the line” when the anthem is playing before the game? #ThisIsAmerica @dak @EzekielElliott pic.twitter.com/4ZaK7f6odx

WFAA sports anchor Dale Hansen even created a video to point out Jones’ hypocrisy.
