One of the biggest questions circling the NFL with the regular season approaching was that of who exactly would be under center for the New York Jets come Week 1.

The Jets signed Bridgewater on the cheap for a mere $1 million one year after he suffered a devastating knee injury with the Vikings in 2016.
Bridgewater has done well in preseason, leading many to wonder if the Jets would start Bridgewater in effort to give the late signing rookie top pick Sam Darnold some time to sit and learn from veteran Josh McCown and Bridgewater before eventually getting the nod.
As of Wednesday, the team has announced Darnold will get the Week 1 start, making him the youngest QB to start an NFL game since 1970.
