Maryland Sends Out Only 10 Players On First Play To Honor Fallen Teammate, Texas Declines Penalty

Jordan McNair passed away from heat stroke during a Maryland Terps practice on June 13.

The team honored him Saturday in their first game by sending out only 10 players on the first offensive snap, taking a delay of game penalty.

In a display of class, the Texas Longhorns opted to decline the penalty.
