Bill Simmons Vows To Eat A Testicle If The Oakland Raiders Make The Playoffs

The Oakland Raiders ended a 13-year playoff drought in 2016 when they qualified for the playoffs for the first time since they lost Super Bowl XXXVII.

The team seemed destined to return to the postseason a year later, but a quick start soon went south which culminated in the team finishing 6-10 and firing their former head coach Jack Del Rio.

The addition of head coach Jon Gruden brought that same excitement the team had in 2016 but that excitement also went south when the team traded Khalil Mack, who is one of the best defensive players in the league, to the Chicago Bears.

The talks of the playoffs immediately ended and has left fans wondering what direction the team is headed in.

On Wednesday, Bill Simmons was very confident the Raiders chances of missing the playoffs so he decided to make a disgusting promise.

On the latest episode of Simmons’ Guess the Lines podcast, he vowed to eat testicles if the Raiders made the postseason in 2018:

“If the Raiders make the playoffs, what’s the most disgusting thing I could eat, you know what, I’ve always swore that I’ll never eat testicles. Those, like, the brains, you know, like cow testicles are a delicacy. I’ll eat testicles on the podcast. And they can be human testicles, cow testicles, I’ll eat some pair of testicles on this podcast if the Raiders make the playoffs. It will never happen.”

Those are the words of a man very confident that Jon Gruden won’t be able to get the job done during his first season back on the sidelines.
