Cornerback Vontae Davis shocked the NFL landscape Sunday when he retired from the league in the middle of he and his team’s game against the Chargers Sunday.

At the end of Buffalo’s 2014 season, quarterback Kyle Orton told reporters he was going to a meeting and never came back.
