Hue Jackson just won his second game in the last 36 tries thanks to a rookie named Baker Mayfield. Apparently that still isn’t enough to win you the starting job in Cleveland.
After looking like a D3 college team for the better part of the first half against the Jets on TNF, the Browns were forced to go with their No. 1 overall pick in Baker Mayfield, who brought a spark to the team and carried Cleveland to a win.
When asked about if Baker would take over the reigns, head coach Hue Jackson said he “would have to watch the tape” before making a decision.
