On Monday, it was revealed that the new NFL tackling rule played a part in Dolphins defensive lineman William Hayes tearing his ACL when he landed awkwardly trying to avoid drawing a penalty on Derek Carr.
Richard Sherman, who’s dealing with an injury of his own, took to Twitter to blast the league for only caring about the health of quarterbacks:

Richard Sherman isn’t wrong here, considering the league began taking drastic measures to help protect quarterbacks in 2008 when Tom Brady suffered a season-ending knee injury.
On the other hand, the league is all about the money and considering the quarterback position is so important, they are doing everything they can to protect them.
