Andrea Kremer & Hannah Storm To Become First All-Female Broadcast To Call NFL Games

The internet went off on ESPN for forcing them to listen to nearly four hours worth of Beth Mowins during Week 1’s Monday Night Football Lions-Jets game, but they might want to get used to it.

The wave of female broadcasters in sports is creeping it’s way into a new frontier with the NFL, and it’s Hannah Storm and Andrea Kremer are catalyzing the way.

Amazon announced Tuesday that veteran sportscasters and journalists Hannah Storm and Andrea Kremer will be the first all-female duo to call NFL games via the company’s Amazon Prime broadcast.

“With decades of experience as storytellers, we will be bringing a different voice and viewpoint to covering the game of football,” Kremer said in a statement in conjunction with the announcement.

The team will begin this week when the Rams take on the Vikings on Thursday Night Football.

Joe Buck and Troy Aikman will still be on the call for the main broadcast on FOX and NFL Network.
