Bill Belichick is clearly not a fan of bending the rules to slow down his team.
Midway through the 2nd quarter of the Patriots-Dolphins game in Foxboro Sunday, the Patriots attempted the confused Miami by bringing on the punt team on 4th down, only to have the offense re-take the field, only to put the punt team back on.
In order to not have to burn a timeout, Dolphins’ Bobby McCain dropped to the turf, faking an injury and earning a medical timeout.
Bill Belichick had some choice words for McCain and the ref standing next to him on the sideline, muttering, “That’s f*cking bullshit.”
