REPORT: Giants Players Are Starting To Turn On Eli Manning

It sure seems like Odell Beckham Jr. isn’t the only New York Giant that has had enough of Eli Manning’s poor play this year.

In an article written by ESPN’s Jordan Raanan, multiple players on the Giants have criticized Eli’s play this year, specifically pointing at his inability to beat a certain type of defense.

Behind closed doors, several Giants players have expressed frustration with Manning’s performance, according to sources. One player specifically commented recently about Manning’s inability to do anything against Cover 2 and zone defenses.

Raanan goes on to report that this frustration with Eli Manning dates back to four or five years ago as multiple members of the organization believe he’s been holding the team back for a while.

The Giants issues don’t all fall on Eli as the team has done a horrible job building an offensive line around him. The Giants bypassed selecting a quarterback in the 2018 Draft, as they selected Saquon Barkley. Luckily for them, they will be in position to grab their heir apparent to Manning in the upcoming 2019 Draft.
