Le’Veon Bell has officially held out the entire 2018 season.
Having been holding out since training camp, the Steelers running back did not report to the team by the 4:00 PM ET deadline to sign the franchise tender, making him ineligible to return at all this season, even if the Steelers reach the Super Bowl.
Le’Veon Bell is not reporting to the Steelers by the 4 pm deadline today and is now ineligible to play the remainder of the 2018 season, source tells ESPN. His season is over.
Bell will become an unrestricted free agent this winter, when the bidding for his services will begin.

Bell will become an unrestricted free agent this summer and a team in need of a running back will shell out a boat load of money for the 26-year-old.
