University of Houston defensive lineman Ed Oliver was not happy with his head coach, Major Applewhite during Thursday’s matchup with Tulane and the reasoning makes no sense.
Before halftime, Applewhite came up to Oliver on the sidelines and appeared to tell Oliver to take off the jacket he was wearing.
Moments later, Oliver was seen shouting in the direction of his head coach as the team’s walked towards the locker room.
As the Cougars went into the locker room at halftime, u could see Ed Oliver with some heated words for Major Applewhite. Oliver is not playing, ESPN reporting the confrontation stemmed from him wearing an “active players only” jacket. pic.twitter.com/0Q7JfZVqnu

According to ESPN, the disagreement began over Applewhite telling Oliver not to wear a jacket meant for active players.
Oliver was inactive for Thursday’s game and has not played since Oct. 20 as he recovers from a knee injury. Oliver has also already declared for the 2019 NFL Draft and with this altercation with his head coach, you have to wonder if he’ll play for the Cougars again.
