Former Seahawks CB Brandon Browner Sentenced To 8 Years In Prison For Attempted Murder

According to TMZ, Brandon Browner was sentenced to eight years in California state prison after pleading guilty to attempted murder.

The former Seahawks and Patriots cornerback was was charged for the crime back in July when he broke into one of his ex-girlfriend’s apartment by breaking a window and proceeded to smother her with a carpet in front of her two kids. He fled the scene but not before stealing a $20,000 Rolex from inside the house.

The 34-year-old was also charged by felony robbery, felony burglary and felony false imprisonment, as well as two misdemeanor counts of child endangerment.

Browner, one of the founding members of the legendary “Legion of Boom” Seahawks defense in Seattle was one of the league’s best at his position, winning a Super Bowl in 2013.
