Jon Gruden Says He’s “Very High” On Nathan Peterman, Will Bring Him In For Workout With Raiders

John Gruden has made his fair share of questionable decisions since being hired as the new head coach of the Oakland Raiders last offseason, but this may be his worst yet – and that’s saying a lot.

Nathan Peterman was cut by the Bills last month, completing his less than two year tenure in Buffalo as statistically the worst starting quarterback in NFL history.

Despite watching the same film every one of us saw, Gruden is reportedly “very high” on Peterman, so much so that’s he is bringing him in for a workout with the Raiders.

Yes you read that right. Jon Gruden is “very high” on the man who once threw 3 interceptions and zero touchdowns in a game and his passer rating went up from 20.8 to 30.7, the same guy who finished his tenure with the Bills with a lower QB rating than if he simply spiked the ball straight into the ground on every play of his career, and the QB who could let Aaron Rodgers throw 1,240 consecutive interceptions on 1,240 straight pass attempts and still have a better career TD to INT ratio than him.

This man has to be high on more than just Nathan Peterman…
